Privacy
What this site collects, and what happens to it.
Short version: this site does not use advertising trackers. If you use the contact form, it stores what you send and standard request metadata. Here is the full record.
The forms
The contact form sends your name, email, and message to my API. The API stores those fields with your network address and browser identifier. I use your name, email, and message to review the enquiry and reply. The technical metadata supports rate limiting and abuse prevention.
The message is also passed to the configured notification email service, and the API records whether that notification was sent or failed. The contact system does not publish submissions. Confidential documents are unnecessary for an initial enquiry.
Analytics
This site currently collects no analytics. Pages do not record views, referrers, device details or performance timings, and there are no advertising trackers. If analytics is switched back on, this section will say what is recorded and where it is sent before that happens.
Your choice is stored in this browser only. You can also set it from the
address bar by opening any page with ?analytics=off appended;
?analytics=on reverses it.
Third-party resources
Text on every page is rendered in fonts loaded from Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When
your browser fetches a font, Google sees your network address, as it would
for any web font.
Maps are mentioned here because an earlier version of this notice said the homepage loaded one. It does not, and no page on this site currently requests a map provider: request recording across the published pages on 21 September 2026 saw Google Fonts and this site's own API, nothing else. Every illustration is drawn locally. If a page ever mounts a map, this section will name it before that page is published.
Your choices, handling and retention
You can switch analytics off with the control above, without editing the address. Enquiries are handled as follows: the form posts your name, email and message to the API; the API stores the enquiry with request metadata used for rate limiting and abuse prevention; and it attempts to notify me by email. Notification delivery is recorded, not assumed.
No fixed retention period is stated here. Enquiries are kept until you ask for them to be deleted, and deletion requests are actioned. Email michael@cengkuru.com to ask about an enquiry or request deletion. A storage limit and automatic expiry are a pending decision, not a promise made here.
